Hello, I’m Rachael, the designer, dreamer and creator behind A Reverent Life. I was born and raised in South Australia and call the Adelaide Hills my home along with my partner and our two dogs.

My journey into jewellery making began, a mere year ago, as a desire to make my own unique and sustainable jewellery that would stand the test of time. That quickly grew into a passion of wanting to create jewellery that would adorn women with a feeling of beauty, grace and femininity.

Reverence has been a cornerstone in my life over the last few years and has cultivated for me a deep appreciation of life itself, God, nature, creativity, love and living well. The heart of this brand is to inspire those who cross paths with it, to live a life of reverence. My method of doing so just happens to be through making ethical and slow, handmade jewellery.

I have always been in awe of and deeply respected beauty, both seeable (nature, people, art) and unseeable (love, gratitude, stories & God). To work with recycled precious metals that have come from the earth feels so special to alchemise these elements into pieces intended to evoke reverence, femininity and joy. Alongside recycled precious metals, I also use repurposed fresh water pearls, consciously sourced stones and handmade glass beads from recycled bottles.

Making jewellery is a truly fulfilling experience for me and feels like a culmination of all the aspects of life I love. Each piece is hand made with much gratitude, love and prayers that when it is worn, you too may feel a little bit (or a lot) of this.
